Readers,
It took me a while but I finally got The Mustang back online. I hope everyone is as excited as I am, because this means that Western news will reach the public faster and be more relevant. The plan is to upload a new issue every Monday afternoon but it all depends upon my writers which are already having trouble making deadlines, as usual. Anyhow, Monday afternoons are the goal. Because we are now online I have decided to limit the number of print issues just to cut back on printing costs and paper waste, don't worry there will still be print issues just not as many of them. Another plus to being online is that the writers are no longer have space restrictions so they can give you more information. I would also like to get in touch with alumni affairs and add an alumni section to the website, I hope they go for it. I encourage people to comment on articles, take the polls, and utilize every aspect of the website.
Beside the website, its about that time of year again, yes sir its GREAT RACE time. The next online issue will be your guide to Great Race, in which we will have the schedule posted, description of events, team profile and any other information that we could get. I'm also going to push for a print issue but I can't make any promises it depends on if the teams turn their profile information in on time.
